I'd like to state that while I did not agree with the posts by either party in their little "tussle", I also do not like seeing what you did to this board by injecting your "powers" and ending it.

I thought this board was unmoderated (that's why I'm here, and not a CB).

I disagree with your decision and it's unfortunate for this board.

1. If You want the entire board offline, carry on with what you have been doing. This place is disgusting. I am ready to take it all offline.
2. Do not carry over topics or information from CB to PF. I will take this board down if it continues.
3. Do not carry topics or arguments from this board into CB chat rooms. We log the chat room sessions. I will ban you from chat. and take this board offline.

Actually, I would like to address this.

This board was created to keep political discussion separate from CB.  The fact of the matter is, as vile as the "tussle" got, the biggest problem for admin was that there was crossover between CB and PF.   People should not go to CB to get "dirt" on members to use against them here.  We try to promote a "safe"  atmosphere at CB, while at the same time urging posters to use caution when divulging personal details.  We can't continue to reassure CB members that whatever they post won't be thrown in their faces if the information posted there is used to sling mud over here.  People should not log into CB's chat and make grand pronouncements regarding a bombshell they're ready to drop about another poster.  That's just not what CB is about, or how CB is run.

And frankly, CB is our "baby".  PF is a red-headed stepchild, an afterthought that was necessary because last year's election was so emotionally charged for some that they refused to find somewhere else to discuss it.  We will go to great lengths to protect CB, even closing PF down.  PF is fun, a place to come and blow off some steam and debate some issues - but CB is why we banded together in the first place, CB is where we can actually help people. 

We offer the HellHole as a place for people to REALLY blow off steam, and just get it all out.  When it goes too far, and crossover to CB occurs, it's well within our right to take it down until cooler heads can prevail.  And, as always, there are things that happen behind the scenes that the general membership won't know about that influence our decisions.
